Regret to Announce the Death of Gordon Waterworth.

We have learned with deepest regret, that Gordon Waterworth died on Easter Saturday the 7th April 2007 aged 83.

Gordon played for the club in the early 50's, representing Cheshire 1953 - 56 and was Club Captain 1953 - 54. He was elected Vice President for his services to the club

Although Gordon moved down to Brighton some years ago he always maintained a strong interest in the club throughout his life.

He will be hugely missed by his family and many friends

There will be a family funeral in Brighton on Monday 30th April and a Memorial Service at St Hildeburgh's Church, Hoylake at 11.30 am on Tuesday 29th May
