Regret to Announce the Death of David Pope.

It is with deepest sadness that we report the death of David Pope on Monday 26th March.

David played in the second row for New Brighton 1st XV for several season in the late 60's and early 70's. After moving away from the Wirral to pursue his career, he returned to live in Hoylake two years ago.

Our sincerest condolences go to his family and friends.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, 4th April at 3.00 pm at St Bridgets Church, West Kirkby.

Reception afterwards at The Royal Liverpool Golf Club to which all are invited.

As this is to be a celebration of David's life the family have requested that black ties should not be worn
