Karl Davies is elected as Chairman of Rugby for next season after taking over from Frank Duff. Although working with a limited budget he is confident that the squad will be well capable of competing strongly in the National League.

He has given BLUES NEWS his comments.

"Although we have lost two influential players in Richard Bradshaw to Orrell and Ian Davies, emigrating to Australia, negotiations are progressing and I am confident that those gaps will be filled. For the rest of the squad there is every reason to believe that they will all be there when training resumes in July although contract negotiations are not yet completed in some cases.
I know what it is that I require from players and from the coaches and by the time of the next issue of BLUES NEWS I will have the squad settled, coaches in place and I will be able to give the full picture."
