Announcing a major sponsorship for New Brighton, Doug Thorpe, Blues Chairman of Rugby said:

In a joint statement with Marcus Bemrose and Howard Beckett partners with solicitors Becket Bemrose and Hagan, Doug confirmed that New Brighton will be displaying the BBH logo on the front of their playing strips next season with the team billed as BBH New Brighton.

Speaking for BBH Mr. Bemrose said;
"BBH are delighted to be sponsoring New Brighton, Wirral's premiere rugby club. Our involvement recognises the Club's success and reflects the genuine national ambitions we hold for BBH. Like New Brighton our legal team is energetic, talented and creative with our heart firmly in the Wirral. Along with New Brighton we are building to take on the nations best."

Beckett Bemrose and Hagan successfully supported the BBH Presidents team who so impressively won the Caldy 7s earlier this month. The Firm's commitment to sport goes beyond rugby to encompass professional football, golf, snooker and a leading woman's soccer team.

Doug Thorpe added:
"We have never finished out of the top four since we entered the National League in 1998, but winning promotion has just eluded us so far. The generous sponsorship BBH have provided will go a long way in positioning us as real championship contenders. "
