New Brighton Golf Competition 2007

This year's competition was held at Mollington Golf Club, Chester on Friday 27th July.  Despite the wet conditions and a tough long course, a rare fine day was enjoyed by all who participated.  Good to see so many old friends such as the holder of the men's trophy Ian Cropper,Travis Wilde, Graham Small and Jaime Uren competing for themselves, rather than the team, as of old. Was it a coincidence that the winner was another NB goalkicking expert?  And what a pleasure to see seven times skipper, Kevin Brookman alongside his backrow teammate and friend Geoff Jones attending the evening festivities at Hartsfield.  A superb curry was provided by Jay Cram, another considerable asset from our burgeoning Junior Rugby section. Many thanks to Ian Kennedy for organising the event.  Can't wait to do it all again next year!
